COVID 19 Protection Framework (traffic light system)
To provide visibility on how the studio will operate under the New Zealand COVID 19 Protection Framework, we have outlined further information below.
We will continue to monitor should the New Zealand Government or the Ministry of Health make any amendments.
Vaccine Passes
So that we are able to continue to operate and share our love of dance through physical classes at all levels, anyone of eligible age* entering our premises will need to be fully vaccinated and present their My Vaccine Pass – either digital or in hardcopy form.
*Anyone aged under 12 years and 3 months is exempt from this requirement.
Under this framework, staff working at businesses requiring Vaccine Passes must also be fully vaccinated. All teachers and staff are fully vaccinated.
The new COVID-19 Protection Framework states Dance Studios:
At Red:
- Vaccine Pass required
- The studio is limited to 100 people:
- Rosette 3 and above: Parents are asked to drop off dancers, where possible limiting the time students are waiting in the foyer before and after classes.
- Intro to Dance and Rosette 1-2: Parents: We encourage you to attend the class with your child. We ask that only 1 adult attends where possible, siblings are welcome.
- One metre physical distancing is observed
- Face-coverings are highly recommended while in the studio, in between classes
- QR code scanning when arriving at the studio via the NZ COVID Tracer app for all non students
At Orange:
- Vaccine Pass required
- Face-coverings are recommended while in the studio, between classes
- QR code scanning when arriving at the studio via the NZ COVID Tracer app for all non students
At Green:
– There is the option we can now allow unvaccinated students to dance with some restrictions at the studio. We will reassess when we reach this level after our journey through red and orange. Stability is important for our students and families.
